Cantaloupe Melon — an early-season melon variety first grown in Adana and later in the Niğde region. The fruits weigh between 500 g and 5 kg. Compared to other melon types, cantaloupes are more durable for transport, have a longer shelf life, and offer a richer, more aromatic flavor, making them highly valued in both local and commercial markets.

Kırkağaç Melon — a renowned melon variety from Manisa, Turkey, considered one of the country’s most important centers for quality and flavor. It is typically harvested around August 15 and reaches maturity in about 90 days. Kırkağaç melons do not tolerate rain well and are considered a summer melon, as they are not suitable for long-term winter storage. There are two officially registered varieties: Kırkağaç-589 and Kırkağaç-637, both prized for their exceptional taste and aroma.

Galia Melon is a high-yielding, vigorous, and mid-early melon variety. Its fruits typically weigh around 2–2.5 kg and are known for their high sugar content and excellent sweetness. Galia melons are suitable for both open-field and greenhouse cultivation. They have good storage capacity and show tolerance to powdery mildew. Harvest begins early in greenhouses around April 15, while open-field harvest starts around May 15, making Galia a valuable variety for both early and mid-season production.
